The hardest part of a multi-day tour is not any single day but the space between days. What time and where to board the next day, where the luggage goes at night, where the driver stays: if these are not settled the day before, the next morning turns messy. Junaiyue has a set way of handling multi-day handovers. Ten minutes at the end of the day locks down everything for tomorrow, so the guest walks downstairs and gets straight into the car.
After the daily drop-off at the hotel, the driver does not rush off. He goes over tomorrow with the guest: what time to board in the lobby, when to hand over the luggage, what time for breakfast, whether to bring a jacket to the seaside. Say it out loud, then send a text that puts the time and place in writing. In black and white, the next day has zero argument. Every Junaiyue multi-day booking ends the day with this agreement, so the guest sleeps and wakes with nothing to think about, just following the text. Once agreed, the driver also reports to the company, and dispatch checks tomorrow vehicle and road conditions. Junaiyue closes both loops so the next day does not go wrong.
Leave some flexibility in the agreed time. If it says meet at 8:20 and you actually leave at 8:30, that is fine. Build in the day driving margin and do not box the guest in too tightly.
Overnight luggage is what guests ask about most. Junaiyue has two layers to its standard: valuables plus ID documents and medicine stay with you, and the suitcase goes to the room or the hotel front desk. No valuables left in the car, and that is the bottom line. On days when you stay at the same hotel, leaving luggage in the room is simplest and it goes back into the car after check-out the next morning. On a city change day, pack the night before, load the car right after morning check-out, and the driver has already cleared space in the trunk when the previous day ended. Junaiyue writes how the luggage moves each day into the confirmation for a multi-day booking, so the guest does not have to ask again daily.
If you buy dried seafood or goods that need refrigeration during the trip, store them in the hotel freezer or use an insulated box in the car, and the driver asks about this in advance. City change days run tight, so Junaiyue suggests taking the toiletry bag out the night before so you do not have to open the big suitcase in the morning. Luggage only grows over a multi-day trip, and Junaiyue sizes the vehicle before departure by the peak of the later legs, so space is set aside up front.
The intercity day starts counting from the morning. Qingdao to Weihai is 280 km and two and a half hours. To reach Weihai for seafood at noon, you must leave Qingdao before eight, and the meeting time is worked back from there. On a morning with a lot of luggage, the driver arrives at the hotel door ten minutes early to help load, the guest settles the deposit at check-out, and the driver waits in the car without rushing anyone.
There is a plan for how to pass the long drive too. On a morning departure, the driver stops at a service area for fifteen minutes mid-way so everyone can drink water and use the restroom. On an intercity day, whether breakfast is packed by the hotel or you get up half an hour early to eat, the driver asks the night before so a meal does not cost you the highway ramp. Weihai to Yantai is 80 km and Yantai to Penglai is 70 km, so a short intercity day like this can actually fit more city stops, which is how longer tours even out. For families with lots of luggage or older guests, Junaiyue moves the meeting time fifteen minutes earlier, loading is unhurried, and there is one extra service area stop, arriving in Weihai right at mealtime.
The side guests do not see: driver lodging, vehicle checks and next-day route planning are all arranged by the company. On a multi-day intercity trip, the driver stays near the city the guest is in, so there is no long drive the next morning. After the last trip of the day, the driver runs a vehicle check, going over fuel, battery and tire pressure, and only then feels easy about the next day road. Junaiyue keeps the same driver all the way through a multi-day booking where possible. Changing drivers after guests have built half a routine carries a high handover cost, so dispatch avoids it when scheduling.
By the third day of a multi-day tour, the guest excitement has faded, wake-up gets later and boarding gets slower. Junaiyue drivers can read a guest rhythm after several days on the road, so from the third day they push the meeting time half an hour later and compress the day into the afternoon and evening, which actually feels better to the guest.
The itinerary also needs subtraction. Trim what was packed into the first two days over the next two, leaving half a day free to wander the seaside and drink a beer, and by day four everyone boards refreshed. Junaiyue always leaves one easy afternoon in the middle of a multi-day booking, which is experience rather than laziness. Drivers get tired too: after each day on a multi-day booking they inspect the car and plan the next route, and company scheduling gives them recovery time. On bookings of four days or more, a half-day rotation is arranged mid-trip with a backup driver covering half a day, and the handover relies on written notes. The guest does not see it but feels it: on the fifth morning the car is just as clean and the driver just as sharp.
The night before a multi-day booking starts, the Junaiyue driver walks the guest through a pre-trip briefing, item by item: how many days the trip runs, what time to board each day, which day is intercity, which day is free. Ten minutes of briefing buys several smooth days, and that math always works out.
The briefing also records guest preferences: local street food or hotel buffet for breakfast, what time the kids get sleepy, whether to set aside nap time. Write it in the notebook and follow it in the days after. In a Junaiyue driver notebook, one booking takes one page, and the multi-day page is usually the fullest.
The briefing also clears the landmines in advance. If a guest thinks lunch is included or tickets are covered, saying so clearly the night before beats arguing on the road. Which days need reservations and which legs must catch the tide are also settled that evening. When the briefing ends, the driver repeats the whole itinerary and the guest confirms it; only then does the day end. The next morning text is written the night before and sent on schedule. The Junaiyue standard is to say the hard things on the first night so the road holds only good words.
